Beyonce, Jay-Z’s Daughter Blue Ivy’s Hollywood Life: Pics

Growing up in the limelight! With Beyoncé and Jay-Z as parents, Blue Ivy was born into music royalty when she arrived in January 2012.
“Her birth was emotional and extremely peacefully,” the couple wrote in a statement at the time. “We are in heaven.” They went on to write that the little one was “delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of” their lives.
Blue became a big sister in 2017 when the “Formation” singer gave birth to twins Sir and Rumi Carter. “They have been trying for a long time and now to be blessed with twins they are so over the moon,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively at the time. “It’s even better than they wished for. Blue is so excited!”
Nearly two years after the little ones’ arrival, Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles Lawson, said in February 2019 that they already had distinct personalities. “The girl is really just going to rule the world, and the boy is kind of laid back and chills like the dad,” the fashion designer told Us exclusively, calling their older sister “the second Queen B.”
In fact, Blue has been performing “since birth.” Lawson explained in November 2018: “Whatever she wants to do, she will definitely be able to do it because she’s good at a lot of things.”
Beyoncé was the same way, the Texas native told Us of the 23-time Grammy winner. “At seven years old, she did a talent show,” she shared. “She was very shy and she went out and got a standing ovation, and she said, ‘I just want to get my trophy because I’m hungry, and go home.’ And I’m like, ‘You don’t know if you won.’ But she did.”
Queen B’s dad, Mathew Knowles, called his eldest granddaughter a “star” while speaking exclusively to Us in April 2018.
“She reminds me a lot of Beyoncé and Solange [Knowles] when they were that age,” the Destiny’s Child: The Unknown Story author explained at the time. “I can see [them in her].”
The Alabama native told Us that he would support Blue “in anything and everything,” saying, “I only have one criteria: ‘Is that your passion? Is that the thing that excites you when you go to bed at night and you can’t wait until the next day? If it is your passion, then you have a huge chance of being successful. It can’t be what I want or what your mother and father want. It needs to be what you want to do.’ So if that was [her] passion, absolutely, I would be all for it.”

Branding Blue
The pairfiled an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to protect their daughter’s name. The A-list musicians intend to use Blue Ivy as a potential brand name for a line of baby products, including carriages, diaper bags and baby cosmetics.

Beyoncé has fully embraced motherhood, even the less-than-glamorous aspects of it. “I love changing diapers,” she told Anderson Cooper in 2012. “I love it. I love every moment of it, it’s so beautiful. I love it all!”

When the nominations were announced a month earlier, Beyoncé was the only one listed but the Recording Academy later updated the nomination to include both Blue and WizKid, who is also featured on the track. One Decade Down
Tina wished her “beautiful, talented and super smart” granddaughter a happy 10th birthday via Instagram in January 2022, gushing, “God it seemed like yesterday you came into the world running things. Blue is my little Capricorn Twin. I prayed for her to be born on my birthday, but she did what she always does. She came when she got good and ready. Three days later, but we still share the bond. She reminds me that, ‘Grandma you are acting just like a Capricorn.’ Blue gives the best advice like a grown person I sometimes forget that she is so young!! Blue is one of those rare, gifted people that can do everything well! God Blessed me the day you were born!”
